Baked Fish With Horseradish

4 Good Taste Foods Fish Fillets -options of Plaice, Lemon SoleDover Sole, John Dory, Haddock or Turbot available from our fish selection.

Salt
1 teaspoon wine vinegar
30g butter, melted

Horseradish Sauce:
100g grated fresh horseradish or if fresh not available use creamed from a jar but halve the amount of soured cream 
1 medium-sized apple, peeled and shredded
15 to 20cl (6fl oz) soured cream
Pinches of salt and sugar


These can be cooked from frozen if put into a tin foil pouch (grease the foil with the butter and season with salt and add the wine vinegar.  Make a parcel trapping as much air as possible inside the foil and back in the oven for 15 minutes then follow the recipe from step 5

1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius (Gas Mark 6)
2. Sprinkle the fish with salt and vinegar
3. Place it in a buttered baking dish and sprinkle with melted butter
4. Bake in the oven for 10 minutes
5. Meanwhile, mix the horseradish with the apple. Stir in the soured cream, with salt and a pinch of sugar. Pour the sauce over the fish and bake for another 15 minutes.
6. Serve with boiled potatoes and green vegetables
